Isabelle Boutillon

She has been with the WIPO since 1990, holding various positions including director of the PCT Legal Division and director of the PCT Management Division. She represents WIPO in meetings with current and potential PCT member states delegates, ambassadors, and parliamentaries. She also advises private corporations and law firms on PCT legal matters.

Fluent in both French and English, she lectures extensively around the world on the PCT and teaches at the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI), University of Strasbourg, France. Prior to joining WIPO, she worked with a New York law firm and in the patent departments of pharmaceutical companies in Connecticut and France. She earned her bachelor of law degree from the University of Dijon Faculty of Law and her master of law degree from the University of Strasbourg Faculty of Law.
