Goce Naumovski

Dr. Goce Naumovski teaches Trademarks and Geographical Indications, Information Technology Law and Traditional Knowledge and Folklore.  Dr. Naumovski has been a Visiting Scholar at the Kernochan Center for Law, Media and the Arts at Columbia University Law School (NY, USA). He has also participated at the 2010 WIPO-WTO  IP Teachers Colloqium.

He participated in several projects concerning IP such as:  Industrial Property Law-Institution Building and Towards EU Copyrights and Neighboring Rights Standards, with numerous academic institutions and professional organizations from: Macedonia, Serbia, Bulgaria, France, Greece and  Slovenia. The projecst included: development and delivery of training courses: events and conferences;  and dissemination activities. The projects were included universities, companies, inventors, judiciary, civil servants, lawyers, customs administration etc.

He participates in the World Intellectual Property Organisation Global Network of Intellectual Property Academies (GNIPA). He is a member of the International Association for Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI); International Trademark Association (INTA); International Technology Law Association (ItechLaw) and other relevant IP associations.

Dr. Naumovski's recent publications  include articles on: Trademarks, Geographical Indications, Domain Names, Entertainment Law and Sports Law issues. He is a member of the Committee on Industrial Property Agents Exams at the Macedonian Industrial Property Protection Office.
